    Engraving & Personalisation

    Each inscription is arranged to suit the composition of the engraving and the shape of the glass, ensuring clarity and balance. Final layout and positioning are determined by the studio.

    A digital artwork proof is provided for approval before engraving begins, allowing you to confirm spelling, wording and dates.

    Craft & Technique

    Each piece is engraved in our Fife studio using traditional sandblasting, a method chosen for its depth, clarity and permanence.

    Artwork is prepared specifically for glass, with line weight, spacing and composition refined to suit the material. Designs are then transferred to a precision stencil before being engraved by hand using a controlled stream of fine aluminium oxide.

    This process produces a smooth, satin-etched finish with visible depth, allowing detail to remain clear and legible within the form of the glass.

    Every piece is checked, balanced and hand finished before presentation.
