Blending Tradition and Craft: Custom Presentation Bowls for Forth Valley College

Some projects allow us to weave different worlds together, heritage and modern craftsmanship, tradition and professional pride.

We were recently asked to create a set of five engraved glass presentation bowls for Forth Valley College, to be used for an upcoming event in China. Each bowl was engraved with the College’s logo on one side, and a stag design from our Entwined Echoes collection on the other — a nod to Scotland’s landscape and legacy.

The stag, rendered in a Lochlannach style, intertwines tradition with contemporary design, creating a piece that feels rooted in history while remaining understated and elegant - the kind of balance we always strive for.

Each bowl was carefully packaged in its own satin-lined presentation box — thoughtful finishing touches for gifts intended to travel across the world.

Projects like these remind us of the lasting power of craftsmanship — and the quiet significance of gifts made to be kept, not consumed. We’re proud to have played a small part in marking an important milestone for Forth Valley College, and hope it’s the beginning of more to come.
